The Full Story

A Sacred Journey Back to Myself

There comes a moment when the soul whispers, “There’s more.” More to feel,

more to heal, more to remember about who you truly are. For me, that moment came through heartbreak — and it became the beginning of a deep, sacred return to my true self.

I’ve always been drawn to relationships and the healing power of family, which led me to earn a degree in Family Science from Brigham Young University. But despite my best efforts, life took a painful turn. After 12 years of marriage, I went through a divorce — and in the process, realized how much of myself I had lost.

Suddenly, I found myself navigating life as a single parent, trying to hold space for my children while learning how to hold space for myself. It was both humbling and sacred — a daily invitation to heal, grow, and rediscover who I truly was.

I remember realizing I didn’t even know something as simple as what color I liked. Years of people-pleasing and codependency had pulled me away from my center and I had forgotten who I was.

That began my healing journey. Through the Integrative Processing Technique (IPT), I spent over a year doing deep emotional work — unraveling pain, releasing old beliefs, and rediscovering my true self. I was on my journey to finding clarity, peace, and a deep inner knowing.

I finally felt a sense of direction. I knew I was meant to help others find their own path to healing — to guide them back to themselves, to hold space for their process, and to walk alongside them with compassion, not shame.

This is when I chose to train at the Institute of Healing Arts — to support others in reclaim the parts of themselves that had been buried, forgotten, or lost in the pain of life.

One of the greatest truths I’ve learned is this:
Love can’t make someone heal. That is sacred work only they can choose. And the same is true for us.

You are worthy of being chosen — first by yourself. Worthy of being heard, honored, and loved — fully and without condition, but you must choose this; no one can do it for you.

Today, I help others peel back the layers that block their light so they can live in alignment, wholeness, and truth.

If this speaks to you — you’re not alone. I’m here, and this work is for you.
